How Care Packages Work

Soldier Tributes has partnered with Amazon.com to bring care packages to our soldiers. Before visitors to the Tribute can send soldiers a Care Package, a Wish List must be created for the soldier. After the Wish List is created, visitors will be able to choose from thousands of items to send to the soldier (not just items on the Wish List). The Wish List is simply required so Amazon knows where to send the care-packages. The soliders APO or FPO address is saved with the Wish List. Amazon ships to APO addresses and will keep your soldier's address private. To set up a Wish List please follow the steps below:

You must create a Tribute before you can set up a Wish List, if you have not yet created a Tribute please click here.
Step 1 Goto Amazon.com
Step 2 Sign In to Amazon.com OR create an Amazon account if you do not have one yet.
Step 3 Find a product your Soldier would like then click "Add to Wish List"
Step 4 Click "Wish List"
Step 5 Click "Edit list information"
IMPORTANT! Step 6 Enter your Soldiers Rank and Name  as the List Name
Step 7 Select “A new address:” and enter your soldier's address. Tips for entering an APO (Army Post Office) address: City field: Enter "APO" or "FPO." State/Province/Region field: Enter the two-letter code for the region where the recipient is stationed. Typically, but not always, the code is "AE" for recipients stationed in Europe, Canada, Africa, or the Middle East; "AA" for recipients stationed in the Americas; and "AP" for recipients stationed in Asia or the Pacific. Country field: Always select "United States" from the drop-down menu regardless of where the recipient is stationed.
Step 8 Make sure "let Amazon.com share my wish list shipping address with third-party merchants" is checked and click “Save Changes”
That’s it!  The Care Package section will show up on your Soldier's Tribute automatically, although it may take 30-90 minutes for it to be processed by Amazon.com
